multicollinearity

“A problem that arises when many attributes or dimensions attempt to measure the same thing. Perfect multicollinearity arises when a collection of attributes can be written as linear combinations of each other. Most commonly encountered in regression analysis with too many similar attributes. In most cases, the easiest solution is to drop some of the attributes from the analysis.”
