relative risk

“A measure of interestingness. It is used in Microsoft’s association analysis as a method to compare potential rules. In probability terms, the risk = P(B|A) / P(B|~A). The ratio of the probability that B is selected given A is in the basket, versus B selected when A is not in the basket. The effect is similar to the formula for lift—attempting to measure the gain in the probability of purchasing B when A is present versus not present.”
